And if I could sign him to a one year deal I'd be all for it. But I'm just wary of adding more long term salary to this team...
I'd rather gamble and have a Hlavac or Nieminen join the team as a cheap, younger player who has had a down year and might sign on for a short term, low money contract.
Carter has indicated that he can play on the left and Lundmark did okay in his first season there so that does give us more options that we had last season if you add another guy to the mix.
Now if we could just get Messier to retire...
