I would give Arvedson a 2 year deal with a club option for a 3rd year. Mainly because I feel that is how far away any real help from Hartford is.
I don't want Hlavac(actually he has had 2 straight down years) or Nieminen mainly because neither is solid on the defensive end and the Rangers already have plenty of weak defensive forwards on the roster.
Using Carter and Lundmark on the left side is the same thing as what they were doing last season. They would be playing from their opposite shooting side. Not to mention neither are very strong defensively not to mention I like the plans I wrote for them :-)

Murray struggled a lot last season with the Pack due to injuries so basically he lost last year in terms of his development. He needs to work on his game so I think he is at the very least a half season to a full season away from being NHL ready.
