Um... the article is a bit bleak, but I guess you're right. I think the best thing that they can do is to bring up some kids. If I were Sather: Scott, Moore and Stals would be up with the big club. I'd trade Carter (useless) for a prospect or some draft picks. Malakhov would be in the minors (let's face it, he'd clear waivers), and the defensive pairings would be Poti-De Vries, Tjutin-Mironov, and Lampman (when he comes back from IR) with Kaspar. The defense is too slow, the checking line doesn't hit, and I think if Moore was put on the Lindros line, he could feasably do something. just a few thoughts...
