RUMOR MILL

Wednesday - June 26th

Elliot Friedmman of Sportsnet, reports that the Avalanche weren't willing to include the 16th overall pick to the Rangers in exchange for Chris Kreider.

Wonder who else wasn't willing to include a first rounder for him. Part of the problem of course is his UFA status next year, and then the expansion draft after that.

NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
Posted by Michael M. Ramos ≡ 11:20:27 PM - May 7, 2012

If you are a Rangers player or fan of the Blueshirts, you have to be on cloud nine right now!!  If you are a Capital or fan of Washington, you have to try and take some positives out of this game. The Rangers worst scenario is that they will play game 7 back at Madison Square Garden, but hopefully can close the Capitals out on their home ice and get ready for the Eastern Conference Championship. But remember Rangers fans, the Rangers were down 3-2 in the 1st round against the Senators and won the last two games.  The Rangers fans can celebrate tonights win for two days, but the Rangers team only gets to enjoy this win for a few hours and then back to work they go.

The Rangers looked like they were going to lose the game with 32 seconds left with a faceoff in the Washington zone. A Caps player Ward received a 4 minute penalty for high sticking Carl Hagelin after drawing blood from the mouth area. That set up the mad scramble that led to Brad Richards scoring a memorable goal to tie the game with 6.6 seconds left in regulation. The Rangers started the overtime on the powerplay and took advantage. A faceoff win by John Mitchell back to Marc Staal who skated the puck across the blueline towards the middle of the ice and took a slapshot that will be remembered by fans of the New York Rangers for many years to come.

The Rangers are now in the drivers seat in this best of 7 games series. Let's see how they handle the game with some wiggle room, while the Washington Capitals have their back to the walls. Enjoy Rangers fans, after that heart stopping great finish, you desrve it as much as the Rangers deserved to win with their NEVER GIVE UP attitude!!!!!!

The Rangers bigtime players played well tonight and the Rangers won!!!!!LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!
