RUMOR MILL

Thursday - December 5th

Per Elliot Friedman of Sportsnet:

Prior to the December 1st deadline, the Oikers apparently tried again to move Jesse Pujljujarvi, and the Rangers were reportedly one of the teams interested.

The trade would have involved Lias Andersson going the other way, but ultimately they could work out a deal.

The King OWNS Broduer

Rangers Are Clearly in Broduer's Head
Posted by Michael M. Ramos ≡ 10:54:15 AM - May 16, 2012

Future hall of famer Martin Fatso Broduer seems to have finally lost it. Not only does he lose to the KING by a around a 3-1 ratio in regular season, Lundqvist now has a winning record in playoffs head to head; but now Broduer has been quoted in the New York Post as to hoping that his team the Newark Devils "We might be able to hurt a few guys [by] hitting one-timers inthe foot and their head or something." Worst scenario is that this is just another bad judgement from a man that many Garden Faithful chant "UNCLE-DADDY!!!

As a human being you are hoping that this is just part of gamesmanship or possibly just fustration because intending to injure someone in sports as in life in general can not be tolerated, ask many convicts and a few coaches and players in New Orleans.  Like Larry Brooks further wrote that it was Broduer himself along with teammate and MSG commentator for the Devils Ken Daneyko that complained that Kubina hit Scott Stevens deliberately in the head in the 2003 playoffs. He should know the consequences of such as incident because it ended his friends career.  Fatso is 40 years old, he knows better as he has seen it all on the ice. It must be clear to him the difference in the two teams and he already is grasping at straws trying to take the Rangers mind off of their jobs. Either way, the NHL Office of Disciplanary HAS to look into this and make him pay for such a threat to injure a player. Everson from the Post have quotes from Zubrus and Henrique saying that is "too hardcore" so it looks like different positions in the Devils lockerroom, bad time in the season for a divided team. Let's see what happens.

The Rangers are clearly inside the Devils heads. Devils talk about injuring Rangers, how all the Rangers do is block shots, and try to keep Rangers fans from showing up to games in Newark to the Newark Housing Authority's Arena sponsored by Prudential. All that shows is a very fustrated franchise base in New Jersey. The N.Y.Post had articles about how the Newark Devils needed to be fronted money to pay their bills and payroll to make it through this season. The few million they are making in these playoffs still may not be enough to stop them from having to file bankruptcy this summer.  They will also have to resign Parise,Broduer, and Ponikovorsky so I can see their fustration as it is all or nothing for this season, after trading picks and young players for Poni and Zidlicky to make it this far.

So, game 2 tonight with the Rangers holding the 1-0 advantage. The Rangers forced their type of game onto the well rested Devils in the third period that lead to the 3-0 win. The Rangers just need to keep playing RANGERS HOCKEY and all will be fine. I wouldn't bee surprised to see the Devils drop the gloves this game and not back down like Boulton did to Mike Rupp in game one. Clarkson needs to show up (some Devils fans are saying he has an injured foot), so look for him to also stir things up which should clearly play into the Rangers hands and lead to powerplay opportunities.

So in the game of trying to get into the other sides heads, the devils will always lose. The are a second class reportedly bankrupt organization, little sisters to the New York Rangers, and will now have MORE Rangers fans at the Newark Housing Authority's arena from which they rent icetime from. Innocent  LET'S ALL REMEMBER PEOPLE---YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET OUT of NEW JERSEY but it is FREE to get in---THERE IS A REASON FOR THATWink!!!!   LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
