RUMOR MILL

Tuesday - October 25th

Either Josh Jooris (New York Daily News) or Dylan McIlrath are likely to find themselves on waivers when Pavel Buchnevich returns from back spasms.

The team is expected to cut the roster down to 22 players, and as such one of the two will need to be either moved or sent down.

Ruff Up Rangers And Win
Posted by Michael M. Ramos ≡ 6:11:34 PM - February 4, 2018

The gameplan against the Rangers is to play physical and they will fold. It happened with the Rangers winning 2-0 in Los Angeles and throughout the season. Rangers coach has a team imposed "play betwwen the whistles and stay away from fighting' gameplan which has made the Rangers soft throughout this season. Last night was the biggest joke of all. The G.M. took McLeod of waivers to try and not let the Rangers get pushed around and when Marc Staal was hit by Emelin from behind and leaving his feet to hit Staal, the Rangers didn't respond nor was a penalty called which was a joke. Instead of responding with McLeod making someone pay, the coach kept him nailed to the bench. Then later on Forsberg hits Vesey with a late and high hit again with NO PENALTY called and again nobody went after him with any conviction. The message around the NHL is the Rangers CAN and WILL be pushed around. While the Emelin hit hasn't been looked at by the NHL,,,,, the Forsberg HIGH and LATE hit which caused BLOOD and an injury brought him a 3 GAME SUSPENSION FROM THE NHL!

SO let's get this straight,,,, no penalties during the game,,,no retribution when the high hits are made (except for your top defenseman Brady Skjei drop the gloves and he shouldn't be the one to do it at all)... Marc Staal and Jimmy Vesey missed the game due to injury (and maybe more with concussion symptoms),,, and the NHL Division of Player Safety suspoends Forsberg 3 games for his LATE, HIGH hit that caused a bloody injury and the Players Concussion protocol called down to the bench to have him tested and pulled from the game. If players are to held accountable for their carelessness on the ice, so should the referees should be held responsible for their lack of protecting the players from head shots.

Let's be real, the Rangers wheels have fallen off the bus and it's time for a total rebuild and dtart with the coach so that players brought in are used correctly. McLeod was brought in to protect Ranger teammates and he wasn't used for it when things happened tht called for retribution, but that fits with A.V.'s behavior with players brought in to help the Rangers like Keith Yandle, Eric Staal, etc who were never used to their full potential under this coach. He did good things in his 1st two years but that was with the team put together for Tortorella, he has wone only 1 playoff series in the last 2 years. The next 3 plus weeks wll transform the Rangers and it is well nedded!

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!
