Wins by the Bruins and Capitals yesterday means that we're no closer to finding out who the Rangers' next opponent will be. The Rangers will wait the results over the next two to three days.
The puzzle could be completed tomorrow when the Caitals visit the Flyers. The Flyers lead the series 3-2 and have a chance to clinch. Boston and Montreal will also meet tomorrow in Game 7 of the other remaining series.
For some on the Rangers' roster, a rest is just what the doctor ordered. The Blueshirts will resume their playoff run on Thursday or Friday (depending who the opponent is) and will allow Marc Staal and Scott Gomez to tend their wounds.
The Rangers got some answers from their series with the Devils, but they know they'll have to turn it up for the next round.
Yet another Sean Avery article from the New York Times recapping the no-handshake moment with Marty Brodeur.
John Dellapina makes a case for more talk about hockey, suggesting the local New York Media (particularly Talk Radio) continues to miss out on the opportunity.
From the Ashbury Park Press, we get an opinion that the Rangers' success means a plus for the NHL.
The Wolf Pack fell behind two games to one in their playoff series with the Pirates. Hartford battled back from a 2-0 deficit, but fell short 3-2 and now will almost have to win Game 4.
Ryan Hillier was injured in the Mooseheads' opening game loss in OT to Gatineau. There's hope that Hillier will be available for Game 2, so it appears the injury isn't serious.
