The Rangers play their 37th game of the 2018-19 season tonight, Dec. 29, against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena (8:00 p.m. ET - TV: MSG 2, Radio: ESPN 1050 AM). Beginning with tomorrow's contest, five of the Blueshirts' next six games are on the road, and all of their fiveroad games over the span are against Western Conference opponents. The Rangers have earned at least one point in seven of their last nine games and in 18 of the last 25 games.
Kevin Hayes, whose points streak stands at eight games, is the first Ranger to put up 15 points in an eight-game span since Jaromir Jagr in 2005-06. Nashville was shut out for the third time on home ice Thursday, most in the NHL. The Predators stood at 13-3-0 on Nov. 10; they are 9-11-2 since.

Jimmy Vesey, Nashville's third-round pick (66th overall) in 2012, has eight points in 10 December games, and an even or plus rating in each of them.
Roman Josi, Nashville's captain, is among the NHL's top 10 in goals (seven) and points (28) by a defenseman.

We got the Preds at a good time. They are on a losing streak and are missing key guys. Our top line did everything last night. I dont care what Fast did he should never be on the top line.
