Here's what I've manage to get from a variety of sources:

6th round pick that kind of came out of nowhere to carve an NHL career of sorts
Likes to hit, to a fault...kind of sounds like Todd Harvey a bit, puts his body on the line a lot and as a result has had a number of injuries
Has not really developed a defensive game, doesn't kill penalties
Has probably a little bit better offensive talent than probably shows in his stats
Has not played more than 40 games in a season although the last two seasons have been cut short because of COVID
Pockets of the St Louis fan base liked him, others see him as replaceable

Conditioning issues if true are a red flag, in the coaches doghouse if true a red flag. I hope he works out when he plays his style of play he’s effective. At 25 it’s getting late in the gig to change your ways. Cross your pinkies.
