No word yet on how long he might be out, but didn't look good.

In terms of the injury, I'm not sure whether it was a dirty play, a careless play or just an accident. It's hard to trust Subban, but some angles looked innocent, others looked more suspicious

Shocking nobody on the rangers did anything to stand up for him. What did we get tougher for?

Subban deserves to be targeted... You just wait to do it when you are down 3 with 5 to play... be smart... we are not the only team that has him on their dance card either.... He will get his soon....

I would think that the players watched the replay of it over and over in-between periods. I assume they thought it wasn't intentional because they did nothing about it.

Didnt it happen during the 3rd period?

You can't do anything about that in a game that is in the balance vs. a divisional opponent. If the Rangers have any chance of making the playoffs in this conference they can't give any points away. You do something about it the next time you play right in the beginning of the game.

You know, you may be right. But, I thought it was the 2nd period that it happened in.

Just looked at it, you are right it was the 3rd. Disregard the players looking at in between periods.

Time for old school hockey. One their players must suffer the same fate next game. That's what happens when you have an incompetent retard in charge of discipline like Parros.

From one angle it looked innocent. From the other (see 1:11 on the clip), Subban sticks out his leg. According to Valiquette on the post game show, this is Subban's MO. He was going to the left, while the puck and Blais was going to the right. Subban was beat, so he stuck out the leg. When you watch it agian, it was actually both of Subban's feet.

As usual, the NHL does nothing. This forces the players to take matters into their own hands. Unfortunately, we do not play the debbies until March.

Well, sounds like they're going with Goodrow again tonight, meaning Chytil will slot in between Lafreniere and Gauthier

Subban definitely sticks out his leg.

I think Subban did it. He has slew footed in more obvious ways, but in this case it was because he was getting beat. The guy need to be suspended. The unfortunate issue is Blais has a long rehab in front of him, just as he was getting the opportunity to play top 6 minutes. This also puts a nice size hole in the Rangers forward group.

Subban is a known scumbag. He clipped Blais' skate with BOTH of his skates, while ignoring the puck. Subban made no attempt to play the puck or the body, which is what he does when a bigger player is opposite him.

Hearing how Blais screamed and watching how his leg twisted, I pretty much relived my ACL tear. Same leg, too. Surgery in a few weeks, rehab until next October. The formal rehab is 4 to 6 months, but the truth is that the leg is not 100% until well after that.

The league will let Subban slide because he was real sneaky on this one and it will be hard to punish him. At some point I hope that somebody, whether a Ranger or not, eliminates Subban from the league. There's no need for players like him in the game.

Ruff knows his players are in a lot of danger he basically condemned what that cheap shot dickhead did and says they won’t tolerate it because he knows that there is going to be nasty payback from this and he’s trying to save his teams ass but it’s not gonna work

What the hell was he waiting for?

When he was injured, they said they would need to wait until the swelling went down. Additionally, I imagine they figure he's out the season regardless, just because of the recovery/rehab time, so there wasn't a need to rush this

Ironic Slewbban kicked out of game against Pilses for jumping and pummeling Walmstrom for what looked like a manno on manno hit on Hughes.  The irony. The guy is a joke.

Sammy Blais skated with the team today. He's still a little ways from being able to play though, perhaps if the NYR make it to the Eastern Conference finals he could be an option
