If you are a locked out NHL player, and you are playing in a North American league like the AHL, you are close enough to New York and NHLPA reps where you can be a part of the solution and help end the lockout. NYC is a quick flight away.

If you're a guy like McDonagh, Nash, or Hagelin, and you jet over to Europe to play, you're taking the coward's way out and are removing yourself from any potential solution.

Players who leave the country are giving no effort to end the lockout. They're only running away from it.


You are a clear thinking person without a doubt. Why would the players put pressure on their representatives if they are doing just fine overseas.

And all of a sudden, no players care about health, conditions and lack of rules in places like KHL.

Squatch, you are wasting your time explaining things to many posters here. You are mostly dealing with left wing pigs that will support Unions no matter what. They don't give a f**k that it is destroying our country in general, and now it is even destroying hockey as well. It is the ideology, you can't change that.
