Well it was about ****ing time that the Rangers started playing with some edge and passion. Hope it continues. And imagine how MSG would react if they ever played like this at home.

Tampa is a dirty team. Always was under Cooper. Holding, stick fouls, interference, hits from behind. Scumbags.

Nice to see a Ranger (Nash) crash the other team's goalie for a change.

Somebody tell these refs that nobody pays to see them play.

Rangers have to shoot faster right off the pass, they're letting the goalie move and get set.

Vesey plays better in these tough, physical games. That's impressive for a rookie. He's gonna be a good player in a year or two.

Raanta was silly good. Nash was solid and deserved to score, has been all season.

Raanta better slow down or we are going to lose him in June. If he's back next year and playing this well when do you start thinking about the bounty of assets trading Lundqvist could bring? His call of course he's earned that.
Vesey likes physical games. It's funny because He looks like he's 15 years old sitting on the bench. He's going to come in next season with a lot of confidence and a hard summer of training behind him. He's a very smart kid, listening to him he knows exactly where he's at and where he's going, and how to get there. When you move up the ladder league wise the first two things are figuring out if you can handle the physical play, and can you keep up. He does both, the skill is evident and he's getting more and more confident every game. Unless your a phenom it takes time to start being a consistent producer. He's had some toe stubs but all in all he's been a welcome addition and nothing but bright lights coming for that kid.
Didn't take long for Smith to get bumped from the right side with McDonagh after 2 games and bumped from the right side period with him on the left and Holden on the right tonight. His best game so far.

Buchnevich had that great chance and held before shooting, I thought the same thing about getting shots off quicker.

Lundqvist has been just as good lately. Goaltending hasn't been our issue, it's been team toughness and goal scoring, particularly on the power play.

They played physical last night, so that's a good start on fixing one of those problems a little bit. Still just 1 goal off a breakaway in OT, though.

That said, I'm not too worried. They're just in a funk. For most of the year, this team was scoring 5 goals a night.... it wasn't a fluke, they'll get their game there again.... I hope

Every time I yell "Zibanejad you suck," he scores. Too bad this doesn't work for Nash, Vesey & Kreider.

I don't care that Stepan and Zibanejad.... anyone, Kreider, Zuccarello.... they've all gone cold.... Miller and Hayes... all of them. And I don't care so much.

As long as they can show up in the playoffs. They have 1 month to get their game together. Their compete level. Their ability to finish a play, and put the puck in the back of the net with confidence.

We've seen them do it! This team has moved the puck very well this year. Their offense has been prolific at times this year. When they're on their game they're incredible.

And guys like Stepan and Kreider have come up big in playoffs' past.

They have 1 month
