Who gets/got your vote, and why?

We'll see if OTG matches up with the actual results. Pretty sure we've done this before, but not sure what our record is. Years' past, it's been a little more obvious. This year is a tough choice.

I could make a case for any of the players I made option for, but I voted Miller. I'm not sure if he is still leading the team in points, but he has been a top scorer. He has taken his game to the next level, and a level that justfies his first round draft pick ranking. This is why we got him. He does it all. Has helped make our PK a scoring threat, along with making elite level plays.

The fans should get the extra effort award for having to watch how a gum chewing bastard ruins a team with potential.

Miller is very deserving also but I went with Raanta. Never any drama with the guy, always upbeat, ready to help the team, knows what his job is and does it incredibly well. Backup goalie is inherently a tough position to play because you may go a month without a start, and then all of a sudden you're the de facto starter due to injury or trade or whatever. Raanta has taken it all in stride, and has turned in excellent goaltending to boot all season long. I can't recall a single game this year where I thought we lost because of a bunch of bad goals by him. In fact I struggle to recall even a bad goal he's given up.

Plus maybe the award will inflate his trade value. Thanks Annti, we'll miss you.

I went McDonagh, (close pick over JT) only because of the revolving door of defense partners he's had to deal with all season. Some say McD has looked sloppy this year but some of that has to be trying to cover the weaknesses of his mates. But he's not one to throw anyone under the bus - just goes about his business and does it well.

I went with Miller with Zuccarello as a close second. Surprised Zucc hasn't gotten any votes here.

McDonagh is playing his best hockey since being named captain, and maybe of his career.

I picked Miller and to be honest overlooked Zuccarello who is also very deserving.

I went with Zuccarello because he hasn't got any votes yet and he's very deserving of it. Nash would be my second. Even though he's not putting up the numbers, he's still been our best player with the second best effort.

The only deserving candidates on that list are Miller and Raanta....Zucc hasn't really been "Zucc" this season.

I'm going with AV.It takes a lot of extra effort to chew gum like he does for over 2 hours.

I voted for Las Vegas Golden Knight Annti Raanta. His steady play behind the shaky D and when hank was still figuring out his game makes Raanta my choice.

Shows you how dumb this poll is that the guy who I guarantee wins it is not on there in Fast. I'd take that bet all day long. Most Rangers fans actually appreciate what this guy does for the team. A few morons we have don't get it.

I agree Fast should have been included, but guaranteed winner? LMAO.
