No scoring from the super line on Hayes, Grabs and Miller.

Kreider Zibanejad Buchnevich
Grabner Hayes Miller
Vesey Beck Pirri
Glass Lindberg Puempel

I wonder if that 3rd line are all scratches in the playoffs

Ya think?

Thanks Captain Obvious.

Is it that obvious that Vesey will be a healthy scratch?

No question Vesey should start. Buchnevich played himself out of the lineup. He shifts into the lazy Euro gear on the backcheck.

The question is, who is the 12th forward? I'm leaning towards Glass for the 4th line.

Then it's curious as to why AV had Vesey play with sure scratches. It would have made more sense to play him with Zibanejad today..... if that's where he ends up....

Kreider Stepan Zuccarello
Nash Zibanejad Vesey
Grabner Hayes Miller
Glass Lindberg Fast

Makes sense..... I like Buchnevich instead of Vesey, though. Vesey makes a lot of bad plays imo. Soft passes that miss their mark, namely. Buchnevich jas more talent. I sit Vesey

I agree with you on Vesey's soft, often off the mark passes. Buchnevich is more talented, but does not play with the same intensity. Buchnevich also looks like he lost the confidence he had earlier in the season.

Yeah well he's also not on the top 9 on ths regular..... he hasn't had regular linemates at all! If they just left him with Zibanejad all year the concerns about Buchnevich would be a little more legitimate. But it's hard to stay confident and consistent when you're in and out of the lineup

He'll probably be the scratch, but he shouldn't be imo. It won't make or break us, really. I think Glass has brought it every game. He has been effective playing his role. Hard to sit him
