Wonder which Ranger team will show up tonight?

I tried to adjust my expectations on reality before the series started, then a game 1 win screwed that all up. Game 2, for 58 minutes started to have real hope, then every minute after that was a smack in the face.

With that said, Rangers win 4-2 with a Kreider empty netter.

LGR!!!!

I've seen the Rangers look dreadful and appear dead, then somehow play incredible and restore your hope. Like three straight loses to the Pens in 2014, followed by three thrilling, inspiring wins to take the series. Hopefully, they don't need someone's Mom to pass away to get them going this time.

Will they use their speed to generate offense.

Will they drive to the net without the puck to give the puck carrier time and space when the defenders collapse down.

Will they be assertive on the PP and at least generate chances and momentum if not score with the man advantage.

Will they protect the front of Henrik's net and eliminate the stupid passes, turnovers and coverage lapse.

We will know a lot about this team by about 10pm tonight. And we should know if this coach has the ability with this group to get things fixed and lead them to play better.

We need some puck luck. Otherwise, it will be exactly like game 7 of the 2015 ECF, the two home games of the 2016 ECQF, or last Sunday night's game. This team cannot beat defenses that collapse in front.

Problem with a playoff series as they move on is a bad break can kill you. A goalie and a very good one at the other end who hasn't been tested yet, can come up big and stone you. Price will be heard from before this series is over. I hope it's not tonight.

Glass needs to beat the piss out of Ott within the 1st 5 mins

Glass is sitting tonight....Buch is in
