If I may recap... concust mcilrath and Mcphee were talking about the downside to Miller playing center

I disagreed

Then I was basically called a moron amd talked down to by posters not named concust mcilrath or mcphee

Mikey provided some comic relief

I lost my cool
Things took a turn for the juvenile

Moderators had to moderate

Delays of game were called, and ultimately it was the fans that suffered.... typical

I didn't want to extend this, I just wanted to have a little fun after it was over. Yet I will explain. You're reading words, we're not talking. You may be inferring things that aren't there, or weren't intended to be there(outside of the obvious actual name calling). Now I will admit I can get condescending when I think people are purposely being obtuse. But that is because I believe you are purposely avoiding the point in order to keep from being or feeling wrong.

Concust specifically mentioned 2 players, and you drop one and add another to avoid his point. My brother is a professional internet troll, and while I'm not, I can spot the wordplay tricks.

If you hadn't posted I would have removed my last comment. Keeping things like this going is never a good idea. Unless it's Dump. But it's there so I'll leave it.

I see your "word" means nothing. For no reason you decide you need to provide a recap. Our morning agreement it's over, and carry on means nothing to you. Here you are again justifying your little meltdown because your feelings were hurt. When in reality I made a observation on your post like we all do, and you flipped a looney. Nobody called you a moron, except you.
When an agreement is reached that it's over, it's over, is that not how you do things?

Oh god, dude..... and I'M the whiney one?? I did a recap because someone commented that concust's post was the one that "started it."

So I was like, wait.... what was the first posts?? So, I found out, and posted about it... I guess maybe I shouldn't have since you've quoted it twice...

Then, in an attempt to move on, I posted about Chytil, and Gropp... Shattenkirk...

What do you want from me? I've apologized... you haven't.... I deleted the insult that wasn't even directed at you..... the mod had to delete your multiple insults towards me and childish behavior.... and here you are "not wanting to continue"

You're right, I was never called a moron.... which is why I said basically.... I was set off by Vua *sigh*ing.... putting words in my mouth like saying a center "parks in front"... and telling me to drop it as if my opinions are wrong and don't matter.... by you calling my basic description of the center position bantam and pee wee....

So, I went off a little at the both of you. Again, I apologize for losing my cool.... I don't know what more you want from me. Maybe you should just block me. Seems to be the popular thing to do

I also want to apologize to everyone else... the other posters and readers.... I know this kind of back and forth isn't why you're here, so I'm sorry for being a part of it

I said the Concust thing as a joke, not as an excuse for you to try making yourself a martyr. And I said drop it because we weren't getting anywhere, not because anyone's opinion is more or less valid. Well except for Dump's opinion. I should have said let's just drop it. And I'm saying it again.

Yeah, I understand all of your posts... was a little offended by the self admitted condescending tone of a few of them back there, but I'm over it...

My recap wasn't meant to be as making myself out to be a martyr, tho.... I thought it was just as light hearted as you joking about concust starting it.... I guess not.... should I apologize some more??

No whining just confused. I think I get it now. Two days back and forth on this insult and now your saying the insult was not directed at me, when it looked like it was. You could have pointed that out 20 posts ago and saved a lot of B.S. So I'm sorry for going off on a post I thought was directed at me, that you didn't bother mentioning wasn't. Lets go Rangers, except double mint he can just go.

This is all very interesting....and yet, somehow I wasn't a part of it. I must be getting old (but never as old as Sammye).

Now, you all play nice. Robbie the optimist is being brought down.....cant have that.

No way! I STILL think Miller will make a fine center for us! AND Andersson will make the team.... no bringing me down!

Miller at center is not ideal but I will admit it may be the best course of action, based on what we have to work with. All bets are off if Gorton can reform/reinforce the center position. As has been pointed out, moving him there and increasing the center depth, only decreases the depth on wing. Still, wing depth is generally easier to fill out than center depth, so we'll just have to see how it goes.

Will be good to see Gropp vs pseudo-NHL talent. It's difficult to evaluate NHL-readiness from Traverse City and I don't watch a lot of juniors. (Which is even harder to evaluate from). Same with Tambellini who doesn't have quite as much raw talent but I think gets lost in the shuffle (also because he's older and his window is closing)

I'm cautiously optomistic, with the realization we've only seen 3 games between the two of them vs. sub-NHL level teams.

Absolutely. That said, they've both stood out, right? I'm trying to be realistic in asking myself... did they stand out because I wanted them to stand out?.... because they've been hyped?... Or is it because they've truly been good?

I think we can honestly say that both have been that good.

Chytil has the clear offensive edge, but Andersson as advertized, is steady and reliable like Fast, only he plays a more agressive game.

I definitely like both. At very least they have proven they were solid choices by Gordie Clark and the draft team. Instantly among our top prospects in the pool

Gropp was drafted, then played another year in juniors... what is he waiting for? He's just getting started. He's been in the system for 2 years.... I wouldn't call him a bust quite yet

In an interview today, AV said that Chytil will play tomorrow.... on presumably a 3rd line try out with

Buchnevich Chytil Miller

Hayes Vesey will also be playing, so I assume they will play together

The rest of the forwards will be the ones fighting for the Fast temp replacement job.

Per Zipay:

Forwards: Chytil, Carey, Desharnais, Tambellini, Hayes, Miller, Puempel, Stromwall, Buch, Lettieri
Vesey, Farham

Defenseman: Skjei, DeAngelo, Graves, Kampfer, Pionk, Bereglazov

Goaltenders: Pavelec, Nell

So, Skjei will get tested with the heavy minutes as the #1 and everyone else is fighting for the #6 #7 spots....

Nell will be there, I wonder if Pavelec plays the full game, tho...

I don't remember Matt Gilroy ever wowing us.... not saying it didn't happen, I just don't remember it like that.

I remember being high on him when we signed him, and there being hype with the Hobey Baker.... after that it's kind of a blurr
