Lucky goal for Crosby to tie it, too.... this team has the biggest darkest cloud over it

This sounds racist!

I hope Rob doesnt see this!

Had he squeezed that puck through, the Rangers had a 2-1 the other way... Amazing how Malkin and Kess grab each post and just waited for that mistake... that has to a set play.

" Shar-Doh-Nay (which is a chick drink) "

Don't be so harsh....you can still get a decent buzz in a pinch.

In a pinch, I’d rather drink a bottle of Aqua Velva.

That has to be the worst game I’ve ever seen McDonagh play.

AV lives for now. Maybe until the end of the homestand.

If we lose to Brooklyn then I'd can him....This team is a mess and it's his fault

This article is old, but holds up,

http://www.cbc.ca/sports-content/hockey/opinion/2013/10/30-thoughts...

Basically, teams who are 4 points out of a playoff spot at the end of October, rarely make the playoffs. Rangers are 5 points out of a playoff spot, with 6 games to go. Also of note, the Rangers have compiled this record having played only 2 away games.

Its getting into how far can you let it slide territory. If the Rangers don't score the two goals on Crosby's double minor, then what? That kept it close. Pittsburgh didn't look overly good to me last night, playing just well enough to win, a quality winners possess. Rangers finally showing some tenacity and life but nowhere near enough. Rick Nash in particular showed some snap.
Zibanejad settling into a floaters habit of setting up off the weak side post waiting for tapins, if he's the number one center that explains some of the problem. He is a player, with the puck on his stick and getting into scoring position when the Rangers are threatening in the offensive zone, but looking basically useless the rest of the time.
Rangers issues are in their head, and augmented by a lack of cohesive effort, and compounded by "who am I playing with tonight lineups" double mint keeps making up. The fourth line last night was the best its been, Hayes, Vesey and Fast looked like they might click, Nash as mentioned was good, but it will be to much to expect genius to give the lines another go. Even keeping Des shay nope, nice assist aside, didn't do much else, with Miller and Kreider..
Could be ugly thursday if this game wasn't rock bottom.

Kreider's play is just a drag on this team. Guy has the attributes to make difference every game. His size and speed should have him as a forecheck monster , neutral zone disruption and drone board crusher. That can be done regardless of offensive chances. He may be psychological issue or in need of careful coaching.
I say turn him into a 3C perhaps a good one. Wonder if he could bring Charlie coyle from Minnesota? It does not get a1C but perhaps getting 3and 4 square allows perhaps Hayes to get playmaking role. Kreider just does not seem will make it here consistently. Young enough healthy enough maybe a team will have an answer? Likely score 40 in Minnesota,

The good news is we lost, so AV will surely revamp that silly lineup again.

Nevermind.... apparently the lines stayed the same in practice, today... D pairs, too

Only McDonagh took a maintainence day.... He played like he was sick last night, maybe he actually is sick, or injured...

Or maybe maintainence means he's in time out and was told to go to his room
