We're in last place, clap clap, clap clap clap

Thus, I keep asking any one good this year #1, is it another McDavid?

Rasmus Dahlin is a Swedish defender playing with Lias for Frolunda

Andrei Svechnikov is a dynamic Russian scorer who already has 10g 4a in 10 OHL games

Seem to be the early favorites for 1st overall...

This team screams that they need another impact player...This group is not good enough. Gorton had the chance over the Summer and he dropped the ball. You got guys here that are playing 1 line higher than they should be. Zuc on the shootout goal he looked like he couldnt care less with the attempt. Gorton get to work

How on God's green Earth is Day No Way the guy you put out there when you need a goal to keep the game going? If this isn't enough to see how much of a buffoon AV is then I don't know what is

There will not be another Connor McDavid for another decade at least. People still underestimate how good he is. The top guys in next year's draft are good, but not a generational talent like McDavid. He'll probably be the most dominant player since Mario Lemieux.

We should of offer sheeted Draisaitl...We need a good Coach and players that care and we will be fine...Having a MacDavid or Mathhews would be great but if you stock your team with good players...not Tanner Glass come playoff time... trading Stepan Lindberg and Raanta for Day No Way, Cracknell and 2 kids....Cally and 2 #1's for 38 yr old MSL....Duclair, Moore , Yandle and a #1 for Steve Kampfer ... That's not the blueprint for success. If you dangled Stepan for Vegas and they took him...fine..we get rid of a very bad contract. I have no confidence in Jeff Gorton right now...Almost feels like Sather is still around

I think right now the Rangers are very bad, but, I don't think they will be in position for the #1 pick at the end of the year.

If they are not going to make the playoffs, the phones better be buzzing by the trade deadline....

No doubt, there's only one McDavid...

This Rasmus Dahlin.... Karlsson is the go to comparable to offensive defenseman anymore, but this kid has a lot of his qualities. Skates real well, elite level stick work, hands, and accurate with puck placement.... He has it all, including some size and physicality.

Svechnikov is almost Jagr-like....

You're my boy!!! But! Zuc is ONE of the only Rangers who shows up every night. He gives maximum effort every game. If half the players would play with his tenacity, we would be a much better team!

He always comes in slow on the shootout

The only reason Nash should go is because he can bring something back. He is a guy who shows up to play every night! He is snake bitten with the goals, but it's not because of lack of effort

There is some revisionist history in here.

I will just point to Ryan Callahan - 5.8million cap hit to TB through 2020 and the Rangers were not going to pay that amount - thankfully.
2012-13 45 games 16g 15a 31 21+ min with the Rangers at age 27
2013-14 65 games 17 g 19a 46 19 min with both teams
2014-15 77 games 24 g 30a 54 17min
2015-16 73 games 10g 18a 28 17min
2016-17 18 games 2g 4a 6 14min
2017-18 8 games 0g 0a 13 minutes now age 32 with 2 more years to go

Callahan is on a steep downward slope. His size and style of play are not suited for a long career, he does get hurt quite often and is not worth the cap hit. I was happy to watch a Cup Final as a result of the trade and not have to watch the decline of Callahan. Also, because Callahan signed with TB, the Rangers got a 2nd round pick in exchange for a 7th round pick.

I didn't see the first 2 periods last night but watched the 3rd, OT and SO. They looked good in the 3rd. What the hell is happening in the early periods with this team? They need to snap out of it! I also don't recall seeing Buch out at all during the OT period. I just don't understand AV. I say the shuffling of the lines is enough! Pick your 4 lines and ride them for a few weeks, no changes no exceptions other than for an injury.

I was going to suggest moving both TD and Shatt to the wings, but we really have no centers. Was going to say dump Carey and DJN but that won't work either. UGH!!!!!

But Callahan should have been turned into assets, not traded away with assets for a 38 year old. That was too much if St Louis was willing to go anywhere, but he would only accept a trade to the Rangers. That trade is basically ancient history though. And Sather is still around.

I am sure they tried to get something better for Callahan, but i doubt there was much value due to the nature of his game. I agree it was too much, but it got them to a Cup Final.

You are right about how Cally turned out with TB....but he was good with us...he fit with us ...and we gave him away for nothing ...a 7th into a 2nd does nothing compared to giving away 2 #1’s

Duclair, Moore, Yandle, and a #1 for Steve Kampfer....let that sink in......Hagelin too...yes the cap sealed his fate here and he did nothing with Anaheim....but he was good here....he fit here....that’s where the Rangers screw up.

3 on 3 is bs hockey
Once I thought it was a good idea but I see it is not.
Put back 4 on 4 and it’s all good.

How you get the same 2 pts for a regulation win and a 3 on 3 win or shootout win is just plain wrong
