2 points and a lifesaver thrown out there for AV to hang on to and no points for the flyers

Maybe they’ll do like the Mets did with Willie Randolph and fire AV on the way home from the west coast. I was pissed when that happened to Willie, but I’d be cool with it if it happened to AV.

Wishful thinking. He is on injury time right now - missing Krieder and Hayes and while McD looked ok tonight, who knows how he feels after the shots wear off. Plus, if nash gets hot, it changes the whole dynamic of the team.
And Willie got hosed by the ahole ownership of the Mets.

Was in Norway last summer. No, couldn't pay me enough to go to Haiti. First, Mr. Frodo is all over there. He must make a LOT of $ over there on advertising, etc... You see his pic & some in a Rangers jersey everywhere. He is a star there. It is a very nice country, natural beauty beyond description. BTW, Frozen (the scenery, etc...) was inspired or based on Norway. It is a nice place to visit, no place to live (for me). It is expensive as all hell. It is 1 of the most expensive countries I ever traveled to, & we travel a lot, been all over the world. It is known as 1 of the most expensive countries to visit & live. Everything is expensive, everything. They live simple, humble lives, not much luxury. They are happy, they love it. The people are nice, very nice, & it is like you died & when to beauty heaven. Really really good looking people/nation.

Just 1 example, we pay what when we go out to eat 7-8% or so, over there 25%. So, your bill let's say $50 + $25 in taxes. They have to import just about everything except for salmon. :-) Alcohol is so expensive, it is crazy. They drink mostly their own local beers. Wine is so expensive, you can't even afford to get a bottle in a restaurant. They mostly drink by the glass, that's it. Liquor stores closed Sundays, & close I think by 7:00 @ night, state run...

Healthcare is free, but as you know what that means. You need surgery, you wait, get in line. You need an urgent teeth work done, you wait, get in line. Etc... A great country to visit (Fjords), would not live there.

Well, you know what, not to get too political on a hockey web site. Sadly, those countries are changing. America always had crime, we know this. Those countries didn't have any crime. You could go anywhere at night, alone, a girl/woman alone, no problems, no one would touch you. This is not today. Norway, Amsterdam, Sweden, Belgium, they tell you the areas not to go to & avoid at night. We were in Malmo may be 5-6 years ago, go to Malmo today. Every one of these countries we travel to we are told in the hotels to avoid those areas. Relatives in Germany since early 80s tell me our country is not the same.

Nice to see Nash remembered how to shoot the puck not like a pussy. Maybe he can get hot for a while and then we can hope our imbecile GM trades him instead of signing him to an extension with a NTC like he does for every f'n player here.

I am happy the rangers won. But after reading all the morning news and chewy gems about last nights game I am informed the Rangers played fantastic and finally shutdown a tough opponent. All I'm reading is how good the Rangers were. I saw a opponent come into New York with zero fight, want or try. Philly was pathetic. The Rangers caught them on the right night. No more no less.

For whatever reason, the flyers looked like the Rangers we have seen this entire season. No urgency, no desperation, no fire, no guts, no leadership, no coach!!

I thought Elliot was shaky at best.

This win was nothing to get excited about.

Agreed overlooked Elliot’s mediocre show. Frank was a beauty, it was a great show.

Philly could've had better goaltending, but jeeeeez... give credit where it's due.

Rangers played a really good defensive game. Sticks were in all the lanes, picking apart The Flyers' offense, and creating odd man rushes.

Grabner, Carey, and Nash all scored on at least partial breakaways caused by forced turnovers.

Any team that gives up three at least partial breakaways was not playing well.
