The Rangers and Mr. Gorton in particular have a disaster taking shape. I am watching what gets done or what doesn’t get done with great interest.

Nah, you know what? I like Nashville....

That was the biggest ass whooping we've taken all season.

The refs could have maybe called a penalty on one or both of those hits to the head. Fine.

But whatever. Nashville just stomped us out. Embarassingly.

And because of that, they are my favorite to win it all this season

I think they have moves they can make & get some value back. They do have some weapons they can use.

The disaster comment is in reference to ending the season with a whimper. I agree with the value back, and agree they would still have some weapons. They need to make some intelligent moves now and during the summer and they can still be in the pack. But they have to get a new coach in that room before next season. Chewy is done like burnt toast.

Concussions have been a big issue with him.

No penalty

The severity of the blow made that look like a major concussion. With the length of time it took him to recover from the Eric Staal hit, you have to feel that his career could be over.

Forsberg suspended three games. That will help the Rangers, not.

Entire Rangers team should be suspended....I'm sure Lundqcist would have an easier time without them in front of him.

Emelin left his feet.

Emelin didn't leave his feet until contact was made. It was not a pre-contact jump like Foresberg's hit. Regardless, in watching the replay, Emelin had time to let-up when Staal's head was down. Instead he followed through. Should have been called a hit to the head.

Leaving your feet after contact has to do with the momentum of the hit lifting you off the ice. Not jumping into someone when you happened to touch his arm in instant before your feet leave the ice. Charging is leaving your feet while delivering a hit. He jumped into him, he didn't leave his feet as a result of the hit. It's charging.

Absolutely. Charging. Should have been 5 plus a misconduct.
