RANGERS (18-19-7) at BLUE JACKETS (26-15-3)

6 p.m. ET; NHLN, FS-O, MSG, NHL.TV

The Game

Sergei Bobrovsky could play for the Columbus Blue Jackets against the New York Rangers at Nationwide Arena on Sunday for the first time since an incident surrounding a loss at the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old goalie was not with the Blue Jackets for an overtime win against the Nashville Predators on Thursday because he failed to meet "certain expectations and values", according to general manager Jarmo Kekalainen.

Bobrovsky practiced Friday, but Joonas Korpisalo started in goal for the second straight game Saturday, a 2-1 overtime win at the Washington Capitals, and the team did not indicate which goalie will play Sunday.

The Rangers go for two wins in a row after a season-high five-game losing streak (0-5-0) ended Saturday with a 2-1 win against the New York Islanders.

Players to watch

The Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist can move past Jacques Plante (837) for 12th place on the NHL's all-time list for games played by a goalie.

Blue Jackets forward Artemi Panarin has scored in overtime the past two games. His four OT goals this season are a Blue Jackets' record.

They said it

"There was certainly an urgency to where we are in the season and the way things have gone. I like to use the word urgent. Desperate has a negative connotation. I'd prefer the word urgent and we've been getting more urgent with every mounting loss, that's for sure." -- Rangers coach David Quinn

"We want to keep it going. It's a good feeling. It's a tough test (Sunday) at home. It's nice to get home again in front of our fans." -- Blue Jackets forward Nick Foligno
