DeAngelo will play every day when he stops acting like a turd and does what a pro does. When he does that, he'll play. I think Quinn has made it pretty simple. Same goes for Buchnevich. If both those turds grew up early on the team would probably be close to a playoff spot.

Also that opening faceoff of OT is a prime example of why everyone needs to take faceoff wins and win pct with a grain of salt. Hayes ties up his man, uses position and boxes him out, and manages to kick the puck back. Kredier on the opposite side doesn't read this and goes forward. Pasta reads it well and swoops in and picks up a loose puck and gains possession for the Bruins.

So what happens there on the scoresheet is that Hayes gets a FO attempt and a FO loss, even though it's plain to see that he did his job 100% - prevented the other center from gaining possession, tied him up, and was able to push the puck back into our zone. It's the misread by Kreider (or if you want, the good play by Pasta) that enabled the Bruins to win the faceoff.

The point I've been trying to make for years is that faceoffs is a team stat, like wins for a goaltender. Center can certainly influence it, but if your wingers are bad or lazy or not smart/skilled enough to gain puck possession on a FO you won, that counts as a loss for the center. So everyone arguing about faceoffs and citing faceoff win percentages and trying to say that one guy's better because his FO% is half a point better, understand that you're arguing a team stat for a event that is essentially a coin flip. Context matters.

I called it quits after the 2nd, have to get up early for work. You have to give this team credit, win or loose, they compete in most games even against teams they have no business beating. I like it. That's the way to play.

I saw it on the replays, ha ha.

Finally, some others actually scored. That line can't be the only players scoring.
