It is potentially better for us if Nashville wins the Central

Can't forget the best case scenario of Dallas makes it to the WCF and Tampa wins The Cup giving the Rangers FOUR 1st rounders!!!

I read Canes want a 1st for Fox....I hang up the phone on that....I'll give Pionk...basic hockey trade similarish in age

If Tampa wins the cup, I would trade that pick for Fox

Fascinating developments last night....Buffalo actually won a game...now stand tied with Detroit at 74 points....They play each other to end the season tomorrow night....somebody has to win the game and move to 76 points....even better scenario is that game goes to OT....Then both of those teams pass us...If we lose out. CBJ makes the playoffs if they win tonight....Hopefully Hank the tank play vs Pitt and we lose....Pitt needs the game because if they lose and Carolina wins...Pitt becomes a WC team

What frustrates me is that at this point of a rebuilding season, Quinn would be perfectly justified in saying "we want to play some kids and get them experience" and sitting some of the vets and young vets. It's in his best interest to get a better player/higher draft pick also, more for him to work with next year.

Let's just hope the lotto balls fall in our favor, although it hasn't in 23 years.

The Rangers make you shake your head sometimes and this one is earthquake like. You have to be in awe of the ego involved in the stupidity of the lineups for the last 10 games. The perfect opportunity to see some young players in games against opponents who still have something to play for, and the management and coaching group throws out the strongest lineup they have every game, bypassing kids that could have been assessed for next year. Playing players they know they don't want around next year, instead of some prospects. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Well they screwed themselves, well done.

It's imperative that we get rid of Shattenkirk. Smith at forward isn't the worst thing but paying him $4 million is. If Krav and a UFA comes here and makes it next season then you can't have Smith at forward...so either 7th D or trade him too. Hajek and Lindgren are good enough to play right now....Crawley might be close....ADA is a keeper...I guess Skjei is. Hell no on Karlsson but Hell yes on trying to get Trouba. I can't watch another game with what seems like Pionk is top pair and out there the whole game. Get Staal a disability Lawyer. Hire either Yzerman or JD and get the party started

I want Dylan Cozens or Kirby Dach as our lottery pick. Nolan Foote with either 22 or 31. Big fast players who are physical. Dallas makes the finals we get 18th pick also.

I wonder if Kreider will be around next year. They have been trading guys with time left on their deal to get a better return. I guess ultimately the question is, are they willing to go $6mx6 for a 27 year old Kreider, or does this type of contract simply not fit into their plans (from a timing standpoint)

Housley done, Bougher done, McDavid with a serious injury that puts an end to trade rumors (for now).

Whatever it is can be used in a package to move up, also.... along with the pending Tampa pick if the win The Cup.

Could end up with four 1st round picks. If they don't win the lotto, I feel this Ott/Colarado pick could be had in a trade

1. Eichel maybe?
2. Did Florida crack 8,000 fans at any home games?
3. X rays negative...I hope for him he's ok

Yeah well... off who's board?

They don't give a.f. who Bob McKenzie likes.... if they did we wouldn't have Kravtsov who is widely currently believed to be the top prospect not in the NHL, who btw has played center most of the year

I believe he's saying that if Dallas makes the final, that means Winnipeg will have bounced out early, and that pick could then potentially be as high as 18. Not that Dallas' pick would be 18.

Having said that we would definitely want Winnipeg out in first round versus in the second round.

Lias was off the board...and has shown why. Middlestadt Tippet Vilardi and Nrecas were there to be had.
