Then you ran away from that board like a little bitch after years of your stupid go for it now trades resulted in squat other than a crap farm system and a mess for Gorton to fix. You couldn't take the criticism like a pansy there Chuck.

Your stupidity and imagination are only matched by the size of your mouth. You are probably Chuck and forgot. Dumb trades and fantasy farm systems are your M.O.

Chuck Norris is into hockey now?
Once the league does allow the puck to be kicked in Chuck will become an awesome player.

This is 1 of those players worth the price of admission, you tune in to see play. I love to watch him play, not since Jagr the Rangers had a player you tune in to watch play. I never realized how smart, creative, sneaky he is, I'm impressed, so far love this signing.

Quickly becoming my fav Ranger since Hank. What a talent, what moves, hockey IQ, smarts, a joy to watch play, elite talent, hockey mind. I gave up on hockey & Rangers from 99-04 for the obvious reasons we all know at that time. It was NO hockey for me for 5 years, none. Tuned back in after lockout & with the Jagr trade to see Jagr play. This player is also like Jagr worth tuning in win or loose, not comparing to Jagr, but worth the price of admission.

P.S.: don't even wanna thing where the Rangers would be w/o this player, may be 1-2 wins, may be.

Wow, he is good, smart,, I didn't realize how good he is, also defensively. A difference maker, Rangers best player since Jagr. This is the player the Rangers needed all those years, some one that can score that 1 big goal.

He is a talent. You have to watch players for more than a game or two to really appreciate all they do. His all around game, strength on his skates he's a powerful skater and very hard to knock around, are a couple of his attributes that blew me away. His obvious connection with his teammates is also a nice part of the package. Might evolve into the Rangers best ever free agent signing.

31 games into a 7 year contract is a little early to start anointing him anything. Typical premature evaluation.

Correct. Much better player over all then Gabby, no comparison. I'm impressed with D-play, smarts, sneakiness, hockey IQ, I had no idea. A JOY to watch! Gabby was all full steam ahead nothing else, horrible defensively. Look at the areas he scores, the holes he finds, the angles & still gets the puck through to score, doesn't need much more than an inch.

P.S.: I am NOT a 'what if' person, but if Nash had this type of a scoring touch, Rangers would have @ least 1 Cup. No player on the Rangers worked harder than Nash every shift, but he just lacked that ... touch, that goal when the team needed it most.

Injuries have ruined many great careers in the NHL.

LaFontaine
Lindros
Savard
Bure

Nash's concussions took their toll on his ability to play in traffic.

And, many more than that, Neely, Clarke, Gaborik, Kerr, Beck, etc... Yeah, we know, part of the sport (any sport) is to stay healthy & some are not able to do it.

#3 in scoring behind some one named McDavid & the guy riding shotgun with McDavid. It is hard to outscore this McDavid character, good luck, he is in a league of his own.

But he's played 2 games less. He's a +23, when the Oiler studs are on the minus side. He is putting up MVP numbers.

If he stays healthy & plays like this he'll get votes for MVP. He won't win it, but he'll be in it.

He may be 5th in league scoring, but leads the league in even strength points with 58. He also leads all forwards in +/- with +28.

He'll get votes, win? He'd have to pick up the play even more & Rangers push for a spot.

I liked Gaborik but he was much more of a one-trick pony. Panarin does it all. If he stays healthy he'll shatter that mark set by Gaborik. But yes, this discussion goes way beyond points. Way too early to judge the signing as a whole as there are still 6+ years on it, but at this point, he has been everything promised and more.

Not sure he'll win the Hart because the Hart typically goes to a player on a top team, but he should get some votes for sure.

If by chance we make the playoffs, or maybe finish just a couple points out, he would have to not only be in the conversation, he should be front runner if his numbers keep the current pace.

Right now I'd say Panarin's in the top 5, even with them not in a playoff position.

Draisaitl would be in the driver's seat right now, but with McDavid out for a few weeks, we'll see if he can carry the Oilers. Besides Breadman, others in the running are Pasternak, McKinnon and Carlson - all from playoff teams. Next in line would be McDavid, Matthews and maybe Rask.
