Tony D continuing to make a case for a contract.

He's not getting one. Not with Lundkvist and Keane in the wings and the team being painfully thin up front on wing and at center. Chytil can't win draws right now. He's awful. Andersson wants out. Howden has regressed. Kravtsov is a moron. Rangers keep drafting goalies and defenseman.

I see DeAngelo going for Tuch. This makes so much sense for both teams it's nuts. Tuch can fly. He has great size and is a righty shot. Vegas badly needs a righty defenseman and a PP QB. Rangers need to keep Kreider and get rid of that dumbass Buchnevich. Oilers are fukkking it up again. I can smell the desperation in Edmonton. Send Buchnevich and Huska there for Yamamoto and Bensen. Something like that. For some reason(most likely because that organization is beyond stupid) they let Bensen sit in the minors where he produces and their team has no secondary scoring. Yamamoto is a righty shot as well.

Skjei with a bonehead unforced attempted clear. Team is not going anywhere with him in the long term plans.

He may find himself unprotected in the Seattle entry draft. There are more important pieces to the rebuild that will be on the list.

For my mind Brendan Smith was partly to blame...he didn’t really give Skjei anyone to pass to as he was being pressured on his backhand, so Skjei tried to clear up the boards where Smith should have been

The Rangers very seldom having a strong side forward on the wall for a outlet. They are usually always clogging the middle and unavailable. Skjei had all day to make a play and thought he would clear the zone and didn't...

DeAngelo is one of if not the best offensive Dman the Rangers have had since Leetch. Like Leetch his defense will stiffen up as he gains experience. Like most young offensive Dmen he is a work in progress on defense, but he's got jam which not many Rangers do, and he will figure it out. He is still on a upward tracking as his game and skills continue to develop. He could very easily be one of the top scoring defensemen in the league next year. Those types don't grow on tree's. It's all about how he's finishing the season at the trade deadline, and the Rangers take on his still unfulfilled talent and his personal maturity and growth, and future contract. He is causing the Rangers to take note of his play and potential. There are ways to keep him if they choose to. Dumping Skjei and Staal would be a good start. Worry about Lundkvist and Keane after they have 50 NHL games under their belt. They have a long ways to go to surpass the still improving DeAngelo, so does Fox. The Rangers have lots of other chips to acquire forwards including other young defensemen. They can't all play.

Defense continues to be shakier than a Hillary witness

They all seem to have some 'accident' or another, ha ha.

I don't give a crap what DeAngelo is. He's getting dealt. Lundkvist is a future stud and Keane is pretty impressive as well. This forward crop going forward is not in great shape because Lias was a moron and perhaps a bust. Howden is not improving and Kravtsov is a bumbling idiot. Rangers need to stop drafting goalies and defenseman. Every pick in this years draft should be used on forwards.
