Rangers are making too many passes in the offensive zone. They're trying to get the fancy, perfect weak side scoring chance with the BJs clogging the slot. It's led to giveaways and this last penalty and PP they have to kill started from a "hope pass", turnover and rush against.

Just shoot it and crash for rebounds.

A little more direct to the net would be better. Their pace is relentless going on the rush. Real good first.

CBJ with "only" 9 shots on goal. Not exactly a defensive lock down by the Rangers, but it IS an improvement over what they were giving up before. Work in progress .....

They look good in all three zones. Moving the puck well, very few turnovers. Good to see Lemieux back on the ice.

They have had spurts for quite a few games where they throw the puck around with great ownership. As the games have gone on they have increased the “owning” the puck. It’s only a matter of time before those burst of puck movement end up in quality shots and goals. Big time liking the path this team is on.

Rangers had multiple chances to put this game away and were guilty of being a little to lackadaisical. Gotta bury those early game opportunities. Another loss that stings.

They deserved a better fate, losses like this sting, they will and should be angry they lost. Another lesson in the art of winning.

You're probably right. I couldn't really see who it was from the replay, was just guessing it was Kreider. Bad play by a guy who should know better.
