Trade deadline rumblings?

Deangelo hurt his shoulder a bit last night, insurance callup?

Either way, as someone who has watched HWP extensively this year, I will say that Keane has been almost perfect. He's not always a gamebreaker but you'll never be able to hang an L or even a goal on him. Genuinely excited to see how he will translate to NHL speed.

After Skjei's "performance" last night, I hope this means they've got a deal in the works to send Skjei packing.

Tony D looked like he got a stinger after he threw a hit. He played in the OT and seemed ok.

They did say last night, that in addition to Staal, some other players had the flu. Skjei played like he had the Corona virus.

It is for Tony D. He played just one OT shift and who knows if he was next up in the shootout. Sometimes those littler hits at the wrong angle long the boards are more problematic than big ones in open ice. Hopefully he only misses a game or 2, but it does give a good chance to look at Keane before the trade deadline in case they get an offer for any of the varsity d-men.

So DeAngelo is out tonight, and Staal is a game-time decision. If Staal can't go, then Keane makes his NHL debut
