Happy days are here again!! I hope he gets Forked Ahead into a Fire Wagon Line Change. So sick of his clown show.
Plus he was the first Devils PBP guy.

I didn’t care for him at all and never watched games he was announcing. Hope Kenny Albert takes his place.

Hopefully he could do both.

He sucked. He tried to make every play and game sound exciting instead of calling it the way the game actually was. If the game is boring and sucks, call it that way.

I know, it could be 1st period 4-0, game # 3 of the season, & he makes a shot on goal sound like it is game 7 Finals OT. And, this is every shot of every game, so annoying.

So yes, he tried to make every game sound like Al Michaels and Ken Dryden calling the Miracle on Ice game; and I’m not going to miss hearing “spirits a pass through the neutral zone” or “pitchforks the puck,” but as a recent retiree, best of luck Doc, and I look forward to listening to your replacement

He sure had passion for the game and IMO reached the newer generation of hockey fans with his weird catch phrases much more than traditional fans like myself.

He certainly wasn't my cup of tea, I could never warm up to his phrases like "melts down the puck", "Pitchforks the puck".My generation called it "freezing the puck" or "flips the puck out of the zone". Credit where credit is due,, Doc did appeal to many fans.....Fans are what keeps the sport alive.... Enjoy retirement
