Smith out, DeAngelo in....Gauthier maybe out with Rooney replacing him. All sorts of pair changes and line changes:

Lafreniere-Zibanejad-Kreider
Panarin-Strome-Buchnevich
Di Giuseppe-Chytil-Kakko
Lemieux-Howden-Rooney/Gauthier

Miller-Trouba
Lindgren-Fox
Johnson-DeAngelo

Shesterkin
Georgiev

I really don't like that we keep throwing Johnson out there and now TD. I feel like Smith did a good job along with Miller. But then again who am I to question Coach Q

Deangelo in for obvious reasons. Johnson in instead of Smith why?

Well I guess you can make the case that Johnson is the "new" guy so he gets more rope than the other two, but have been pretty happy with the way Smith has played in his two games so far, feel like he deserves the time over Johnson

Gauthier hasn't shown me much, escpecially in his own zone where he's had a couple of dumb giveaways. If he's subjected to 4th line minutes, better to play Rooney.

Most times that Gauthier is noticeable is a lone chance with no follow-up, feels at times he's playing by himself, doesn't seem to be able to leverage his teammates as much as others. Would be fine if he was better defensively, but not sure he has that ability

I like the chemistry between Kakko and Chytil. My lines would be as follows:

Kreider/Ziban/Buch
Panarin/Chytil/Kakko
Lafreniere/Strome/Gauthier
Lemieux/Howden/Di G

These are balanced lines. Keeps Chytil and Kakko together. Lowers Strome down. Takes pressure off of Lafreniere and has him on the 3rd line where he belongs to start. I'd go this way tomorrow night.
