Fox so impressive to watch. About the only thing that gets me through a rangers game. That and a lot of drinks.

Good road win against a hungry team... I thought the Preds played hard.

Shesty is Hank 2.0 - it all rests on his narrow shoulders. I hope he does not get hurt.
Blais has some serious skills, loves to finish checks and loves to take an occasional dumb penalty. Although, the x check penalty was the result of the Pred holding on to Blais' legs.
Chytil showing some offense - playing with Laf and Blais helps
The D is still helter skelter, but the Preds were very aggressive in the Rangers end all game
Lundqvist needs to hit the weight room and the food line

The refs let a lot of preds stick fouls and trips go. Blais was tripped right before his interference penalty. Looks like the refs are in midseason form already.

Another road win is good stuff.

Yes it’s important to realize average goaltending and the Rangers are 0-3 on this trip. That being said similar goaltending in the past and the Rangers still lost those types of games. I’m encouraged by Gallant sticking with his lineup changes more than Quinn, and not being scared to throw Blais up the lineup, using Lafrenierre how he is, and I’m looking forward to Kakko’s return and utilization. Gallant has a advantage of playing in the league, going back to junior coaching picking up on all the new nuances, onto the NHL and some success, but lingering questions why did Florida and Las Vegas get rid of him. A mystery indeed with all things here pointing as a work in progress but seemingly on the right track.
And Hunt brings decent value for the buck he’s getting. It’s so easy to replace him with a $5,000,000 player, except you can’t. . And Mckegg for that matter to good value for his buck a perfect experienced callup guy. Barron is getting a shot he performs and a bubble guy like Hunt, Gautier ect are probably gone. All in all so far Gallant has these guys working consistently a lot harder than Quinn.

Yeah, I've been impressed with Blais, I knew they thought he had more offensive upside, but his hands have proven to be much better than I anticipated. I think the biggest challenge with these guys who are physical is consistency....it's hard to go out and do that every night, just wears the body down...so if he can figure a way to balance it a bit better and get some more consistency, then I think he'll be around more years here.

While Blais' play has been a pleasant surprise, I think the most surprising of the bunch has to be Reaves.  I never realized he was such a good (and fast) skater as wel as defensively responsible in all zones.  Most "enforcers" do not have those qualities.
