Of course it doesn't take much to impress you, considering over the years the rejects you have babbled about that should have been on the Rangers. Funny thing is NONE ever made it. Hajek is another who will be waived off into the sunset to join them. His game last night was one of the worst efforts seen in a long long time. He hasn't played well, is untradeable because he has zero value, much like your posts, so really no other way to get rid of him. |

Hajek is not terrible, but he's not the kind of defenseman that will help a winning team. He was a -4 (on ice for all even strength goals) last night. The most telling one was the Janmark goal, in which he got schooled and played the puck instead of playing the man. Defense 101.
Zac Jones is a keeper, but needs more time. I don't mind him on the 3rd pair and on the PP, but he needs a better partner.
Chytil is a shit show at center. Either switch him to wing, or just get rid of him.

| Hajek got exposed by a big, fast team that attacks the net. His trade value just went down like Biden's approval rating.
Jones is very talented and can be a solid PP point player. There's much more upside with Jones than Hajek. If paired with a physical, stay at home Dman on the third pair, Jones would be part of a solid 6 on the backline.
5 game road trip without Shesterkin could get ugly. LA and Anaheim can be tough at home. At least they get Philly on the way home. |

| Nonsense. Tampa is a big fast team and so is Edmonton and he was rock solid. He was paired with a small, rookie defense partner and he and the team were probably out in Vegas gambing and going to strip clubs. Talk about an overreaction to one game. Jones is small. He's basically a smaller Fox with half the talent. No thanks. He will be dealt. Waiting for Schneider to get the call who is a defenseman we can contend for cups with. Hopefully Robertson will come along quick. |
