PV29 - 2022-01-24 2:07 PM MSG and the Rangers have never done a "Strippers and Cocaine Night". I'm extremely offended by this and feel that the Rangers have not done everything they can to make the Garden and the Rangers more inclusive for people like me. It's 2022 for heaven's sake, when will they stop with the stripper-phobic behavior and systemic bigotry. The protests start at 6pm, bring your own signs.
You missed your window. When I was a kid, every night at MSG was cigar, cigarette and cocaine night with an occasional stripper. Plus beer. Lots of beer. The smoke was so thick you could not see the other side of the Garden.
Mostly true. Cocaine was too high-priced for MSG back in the 80's. Marijuana joints in the stairwells leading up to the blue seats was the consession of choice. The occasional chick in the men's room taking a leak in the sink because the line was too long in the ladies' room was an unexpected treat sometimes.
And yes, the smoke was thick. Pretty nasty at times.
