| Canes getting frustrated a bit? Doing stupid crap away from the puck, chippy and borderline dirty plays. Tony D yapping like a bitch, would like to see the Rangers target him like the Canes have targeted Fox. Fox has composure to take the hits and not react. Tony D does not. |

| I’m surprised Gallant even had Lindgren and Fox on the ice at that point, there was no need. Throw out Miller and Trouba or even Schneider and Braun. Your up by two and just asking for trouble when Carolina throws out a couple meatheads. He has last change. That’s on the coach as far as I’m concerned, doesn’t give Carolina a pass, and there was a reason Brindamour had Domi out there, but Gallant has to recognize that and use his last change better. |

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised they haven't done that more to be honest...though the Rangers PP hasn't exactly looked great. Still, got to take advantage of that kind of stuff. Svechnikov is another guy that you might be able to bait a bit...and Domi for that matter, though as a fourth liner, you're not going to see him as much. |

| Panarin has been a major disappointment. Is he playing hurt or just lost his confidence? The giveaways are alarming. He leads all players in the postseason with 26 (just 6 takeaways). As a team, we have given the puck away the most in the playoffs, 192 giveaways. The next worst is Calgary with 124. The 103 takeaways help balance things a little, but not enough. The point is, it's all about puck posession. The giveaways and faceoff losses are hurting us.

Location: SWFL | Playoff strategy would always be to take the other team's best player away from them. Panarin is always trying to make a play.He is out there with Strome.... who can't pass, receive a pass, shoot or just about anything.... they've been moving his other wing around too. If the players around him were better he wouldn't feel like he has to make every play. Put Strome on the 3rd or 4th line and get some skill on the ice with Panarin...Thankfully these are the last days of the Strome(man) empire. Better get a center who can win a face off... I'm just saying Strome is not top 6 and when he gets paid he should send money to Panarin for making him look better than he really is. |

| No one an argue Strome has been a disappointment these playoffs. It’s like everyone on both teams amped up their playoff game except Strome. And you can pretty much say the same thing about Panarin who has struggled to say the least. Their play has eliminated a contribution from their usual winger Copp as well. Rangers need something from this line, a contribution gives other teams tougher matchup decisions, the way they are contributing Brind’amour can throw out his fourth line against them. The sooner they pick it up I’m sure would be good with Gallant.
Besides would really like to see a Shestorokin Vasilevskiy showdown. |
