Say what you want about Rangers coach John Tortorella, but he does what he feels his team needs at any cost.  If he feels a player hasn't done his job and wants to make a point, he will no matter who it is like he did last night to Marian Gaborik. He may not be the best interview after a game win or lose but the NHL Broadcasters voted him as a Jack Adams finalist for a reason. He was fined twice in interviews for " using profanity" for a total of $50,000 during interviews. The Rangers are now even at 1-1 with the Newark Devils with the games moving to the Newark Housing Authourity's Arena that will no doubt have alot of Rangers  fans cheering for their Rangers to take a lead in this series and move onto a chance to battle for the Stanley Cup.

Rangers Are Clearly in Broduer's Head http://www.outsidethegarden.com/articles/story.asp?id=1168

Future hall of famer Martin Fatso Broduer seems to have finally lost it. Not only does he lose to the KING by a around a 3-1 ratio in regular season, Lundqvist now has a winning record in playoffs head to head; but now Broduer has been quoted in the New York Post as to hoping that his team the Newark Devils "We might be able to hurt a few guys [by] hitting one-timers inthe foot and their head or something." Worst scenario is that this is just another bad judgement from a man that many Garden Faithful chant "UNCLE-DADDY!!!

Team Chemistry vs. $100 Million Man http://www.outsidethegarden.com/articles/story.asp?id=1167

In this version of Battle of the Hudson Circa 2012, this year it is again for passage to play for the Cup just like 1994 with games 3-7 actually being on the same dates. The teams have met 5 times in the playoffs with the Rangers holding a 4-1 lead with the latest series being in 2007-2008 with the Rangers winning the series 4-1 and celebrating on the Newark devils ice. Because Rangers fans can easily get to the Newark Housing Authorities Arena, it should be like 7 home games for the Rangers.

Just Bring It !!!! http://www.outsidethegarden.com/articles/story.asp?id=1166

This years New York Rangers may not be the most talented team, but what they do have is the leagues best goalie, a great young defense, a few scorers, and a team chemistry that made them the best team in the Eastern Conference during the regular season. This years playoffs have seen most of the top regular season teams knocked out already and this Saturday the Rangers season is on the line. In it's second game 7 of this years playoffs, the Rangers home ice advantage should be the edge they need in this very odd series against Washington. Rangers hope it stays very odd as the Rangers have won games 1,3,5 and hopefully 7.

Rangers looking to win on Two levels http://www.outsidethegarden.com/articles/story.asp?id=1165

While the NHL New York Rangers are looking to close out the series with the Washington Capitals tonight, the Rangers minor league team the Connecticut Whale are looking to take a 3-2 series lead in their second round tonight also. The Rangers organization has finally become a team that has depth and that everyone throughout the organization knows the system and can step in when called upon. In the past, the Rangers would have traded for key players and given up prospects to do so, but now the Rangers just dip into their prospect pool whenever needed.
