Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff released his top 20 trade targets, and the Rangers have a few points of interest on the list.

In terms of trade assets, he highlights Alexandar Georgiev and Vitali Kravtsov as two players available for the right price. While I touched on Georgiev yesterday, Kravtsov remains very unlikely to return to the Rangers - though who knows for sure - and could potentially be the target for a team looking to add. Still, like Georgiev it would seem unlikely that he'll be gone at the tradeline, and perhaps more likely at next year's Entry Draft.

In terms of areas of interest, Seravalli touches on Montreal Defenseman Ben Chiarot - also covered by Arthur Staple The Athletic earlier in the week - as well as Tomas Hertl, the impending UFA center from San Jose.

While a Chiarot deal would involve the Chris Drury trying to work a deal with his former dismissed boss, Hertl would be a surprising move, given the risk that he might not gel with the roster AND that he's possibly only slightly better than Ryan Strome, likely to receive even more money in the UFA market.

Question Of The Day

August 19th, 2021

Earlier this year the Rangers won by a margin of nine goals as they beat the Flyers 9-0. How many times has the margin been bigger?
