Rheaume Claimed Off Waivers
St Louis today claimed veteran forward, Pascal Rheaume off of waivers. The Rangers had looked to reassign the defensive specialist to Hartford after he’d been a healthy scratch for the last handful of games.
A late signing by the Rangers, Rheaume failed to make an impact with the team, perahps a reflection of missing training camp and the off-season. A knee injury two games into his stint with New York also cut his effectiveness and may have ultimately contributed to his performance
