The Pack still control their own destiny, but are in the midst of a 3-4-3 stretch that has seen them drop to 5th spot, one point behind Charlotte with 2 games in hand.

Hartford continue to struggle in converting opportunity (ranking 24th out of 32 teams), though their defensive side has been in the top half.  With all the call-ups, along with injuries this year, not to mention their coach signing with Edmonton, it's been a season that perhaps hasn't gone as well as it could have.

They lost Ben Harpur for the season, lost Ty Emberson before the year started (waivers), and have Connor Mackey currently working on coming back from a week-to-week injury.

They've also been without Riley Nash for 30 odd games, and Jonny Brodzinski (their captain) has been with the NYR most of the year.  Throw in injuries to Adam Edstrom and Jake Leschyshyn and it's been tough for them.

Add to the above that Louis Domingue has been out with an undisclosed injury.  Garand has been ordinary and Lindbom is terrible.

The good news is that the Top 6 teams in the Atlantic division make the playoffs so as long as they stay ahead of Lehigh Valley or Springfield (Bridgeport is unlikely to catch them) everything is golden.
