We were having Chinese Spammers coming in, so had to put a few restrictions on folks with low post counts sorry.

Sounds like it's shaping up to be Kreider and the 12th pick for 10th overall and 20 year old center Carey Terrance

Sounds like the Ducks are on Kreider's 15 "NO" list. So this is either BS, or a pending cluster fark.

CK (or his agent) were supposedly spoken with before the negotiations began.

Can't happen soon enough. Poster child for lazy selfish one way hockey, who contributes nothing to teammates success, circling aimlessly, only looking for his linemates hard working breakouts. Perfected the art of tip ins on Powerplays that opposing teams figured out and shut down last season. A fact lost on Derelict Pete. Zibanejad proved after being placed with Miller what a drag on his game Kreider was. Adios Chris, nothing to hold you back from Anaheim, be happy a team wants you.

Yeah, Brooks was speculating they might be interested in taking Zibanejad too...and that Zib might be more amenable to a trade now that Kreider is gone 🙂

I missed the speculation about Zib......it definitely makes sense.  Everyone knew Zib wouldn't waive as long as CK was here.

CK will probably be better this season if he is healed up but this is the smart move for the Rangers. This opens up the left side for the Rangers and also gives them cap room to scare off potential bidders for Cuylle and KMiller.

just do not lose him for a few picks next year - but who knows, some team might overpay salary and years because:

"he does skate well, he can put up points, he can pull big minutes, he is only 25,  he is a bigger body who will hit - maybe it has just been the crazy Ranger head coaching turnover and Ranger nonsense that has held him back......."

and they are not wrong - he is a true enigma.

I could see somebody sign him and he turns into an allstar.
