Kreider is the easiest to trade with the most value. Teams will want Kreider. Kreider's cap hit of 6.5million for this season plus 2 more seasons is a reasonable price for the goal scoring with a modified 15 team no trade clause. For the cheap teams, his actual salary is only 5million. Zib's contract is a brutal 8.5million cap hit for this season plus 5 more years. His costs are 10.5million this year, 10million next year, then 8.5million, 7.75million, 6.75million and 6.5million. He has a no movement clause.
It will be interesting to see what drury does because this group is not winning the cup. There are only 2 guys in this top 9 forward group who hit more than once a game, Cuylle and Trocheck. This is exactly how you do not win a cup.

As for Trouba and Kreider, both are on modified no-trade clauses this year, which means there are 16 teams they can be traded to without the consent of the player (versus 15 that are blocked, or would require their go-ahead). Mercogliano expects Lindgren is on the list of available players too, though I don't think anyone expects Panarin, Trocheck or Zibanejad to be moved (all have full NMCs)

I don’t see untradable Zib going anywhere. Trouba who threatened to sit if traded this summer needs to go one way or the other. Miller frustrates night after night, how long can you wait for this guy to be what he’s supposed to be, it’s time to lower the supposed to be level, to he is what he is. Kreider has been on my shit list for years. Definitely time for a shakeup and Kreider and Miller will have the most value in return, and the Rangers need returns. Would also get Lafreniere on the left wing where he is best.
