Brodzinski called up, likely as coverage for Chytil, does put the Rangers right up against the salary cap (projected $10K space). They could have gone with Goodrow at center and then slotted Pitlick back in, but looks like they're not as confident over Goodrow's ability to fill in at center, particularly on the third line which Laviolette might also be looking for more offense from.
We'll see if Chytil does indeed miss time...but probably won't find out until tomorrow with the Rangers off today
