Very important to get signed, K Miller not so much. Cuylle has pretty much put himself in the Lafreniere contract range of $7,450,000 for 7 seasons if he will sign for that. Who would you rather have at that money? Easy answer Cuylle. IMO get Cuylle signed trade Lafreniere. To Ottawa in a Brady wants out of Ottawa deal. Miller what do you do with him?

Nobody in their right mind would take Laf with that contract. I am afraid this will be a problem going forward. He has proven to be quite worthless.

If they need me to bleed, then I'll bleed for my team

I think there'd be teams that would take him on this contract, especially given how he did last year and in the playoffs...and even how Kakko has rebounded since being moved to Seattle.

As for Cuylle, If they go long term, then I think maybe it goes that high...although they might still be able to get him a bit lower.  Also there's a possibility that they go shorter term for lower numbers, but then that runs the risk of higher when that contract ends.

I agree about Lafreniere I don’t see a problem moving him and his contract if they choose to. Teams know very little PP quality time, and a lot of off wing play.
