Fantastic start, and Shesterkin looked as sharp as we've seen him.  Gonna earn the big bucks with games like that.

Great to see all four lines find a way, even if it was taking a fading Penguins team behind the woodshed and giving them a good old beating.  That Chytil line really dominated offensive chances tonight, and obviously it will depend on Chytil staying healthy and Kakko finding some sort of form...which he doesn't have right now, but he did have chances.

Defense was a bit lacking in the first 10, but got to figure the Penguins were excited to get their season kicked off, and the Rangers were able to weather the storm and any other Penguins flurry.

Very positive way to start the year, let's see if they can avoid the up and down that we saw last year at the beginning, and of course we're a long way from anything at the moment.

@fish Kind of hard not to get pumped about what could be with the Chytil line if they can stay together.
