He's obviously on the downside of his career. With just 6 goals in 32 games played this season, at this pace he will need to play 357 more games to catch the great one. I'm sure 6 in 32 is just an anomaly, but I doubt he has any more 30 goal seasons left in him, especially with the Capitals current supporting roster. If he hangs on like Jagr, maybe. I hope not.I’m hoping ovechkin doesn’t catch the great one.
