Here's a trivia question for us old time NHL fans.

What are the most points scored by 2 defensemen on the same team in a single season? Who and how many?

Has to be Leetch/Zubov during the Cup year surely

That's what I thought but not even close

Is it Coffey plus someone?

Nope

Orr/Vadnais?

Getting warmer

But Orr didn't lead

The most points scored by two defensemen in a single NHL season is a combined total of 277 points, achieved by Bobby Orr and Brad Park for the Boston Bruins during the 1973-1974 season. Orr had 122 points, and Park had 155 points.

Don't think that's right, Park was still a Ranger then (traded to the Bruins in 1975)...and Coffey has the most points in a season for a D-man at 139.

Think it might be the 1974-75 season with Orr and Vadnais

Bad AI?

Can't fault the effort tonight, was a pretty solid game, outplayed the Caps for more than half the game, but just couldn't get that goal.

Ranger goalies have allowed 3 goals in 4 games this season, but the Rangers are 2-2-0

I thought it was a well played game overall. Just gotta score. If they can play like that most nights they should be fine.
