Did I just hear them say Rangers have no shots on goal this period?

Quick needs to request a trade.

Rangers constantly eyeballing the puck, never a tie the guy up, just chasing the puck like a bunch of dogs after a ball.

Quick doesn’t deserve this.

The blame is twofold, players that don’t give a rat’s ass and an overrated useless coach.

Q:  What’s the common denominator over the last four decades of frustration?

A:  James Dolan.
He’s a bum.

Well Dolan can't be watching this shit and not realize Drury doesn't have it, Drury never should have traded for Miller. Ask yourself if Miller waived his NMC who the f'k would want him. And hiring his friend to coach the team without going through any kind of review process for other candidates, was beyond stupid. All the warnings aka no playoffs his last three seasons.

And the really scary part of all this is if Drury screws up this asset selloff and doesn't get some Grade A players back, the Rangers better get used to the bottom of the pack because thats where they will be for a long time..

Miller has been playing hurt all season but still has played in 79 games since the trade. Chytil has played a whole 26 games since the trade due to 2 more concussions and mancini has  played about 20 plus games and cannot stay on the ice. So far he looks like a #7 dman. The Rangers sold high on him. And yes I remember the first that was sent to Van.

I still would rather have Miller vs unavailable Chytil (who, at best might be 2/3 center) and another #7 dman.

This team had to have zero injuries to make the playoffs and that is not what has happened. They lost their best dman Fox who also drives offense on a team lacking offense and then lost their best player in Igor plus Miller playing hurt. Also, what looked like a decent 4th line with Rempe and Edstrom on wing has not played together also due to injuries. That all adds up to season over.

The hidden blessing in all this is that they will get something for Panarin. If they were in the hunt for a playoff spot they would not trade Panarin and he would leave for free after the season. Also, as much as I like Trocheck, he might get a bigger return than Panarin.

Other teams were out there to take a flyer on Chytll and a interesting prospect in Mancini. Might not have had all the hoopla as Miller, but those two plus the first round pick would have netted something. I don't think its a case of Miller or Chytll, it's more does a contending team want Miller period? Not a good trade at all for the Rangers especially done last year at a point where Gretzky and Messier couldn't have boosted them into the playoffs. Another of Drury's maneuver's that are very questionable.
