well that sucked - zib coughs up the puck and Fox leaves his feet at the request of Kneelander

Was hard to see the Rangers winning in OT given the form of the top six right now...especially when you're facing Nylander and Matthews

2 on 1, Morgan Reilly went to the bench  - the 2 other Rangers (Panarin and Zib) were skating back - never leave your feet because you turn into a slowly moving bump on the ice moving the wrong way. If he just stopped on his skates he might have still been able to affect the play. Based on Fox's positioning, another standard play was for Fox to go with Matthews and let Igor deal with Nylander.

Obviously Fox thought he was doing the best thing and his hockey brain is way bigger than than all our hockey brains combined, but we saw what we saw. Also - Nylander and Matthews!

Now Panrin was ahead of Zib getting back, but panarin stopped skating once he crossed the  blueline 🤬 , maybe fox took this into consideration and went for the desperation play.
