Kkakko is just watching the game from afar tonight  - at least lindgren and Zib look like they are trying to participate. Lindgren still rusty - Zib might just be the inevitable decline that was obvious last season

 

Zib should have atleast leaned on Mikkola there - I bet he has a bad back that he cant recover from - he also got reverse hit last game

4th line has had some good shifts tonight at least

Too many Rangers give the puck and aren't willing to take a hit to keep possession. Most of them try to move the puck without possessing it and give it away. Cuylle plays hard on the puck 

Nice L - the rangers needed to be reminded they still have no answer for Playoff Pressure from FLA

4th line has had some good shifts tonight at least

I thought so too - Lav always shortens the bench when he is losing. 4th line has some speed and grind -

 

Rangers tried to win the easy way and that’s not going to work to often against Florida or other top teams. And yet a bounce or two, or some better finish and the score could have been reversed. Laviolette has more than a few things to talk about at the next chalk session. 
Of the highlights Shestorokin did his part, Garrick, Cuylle, Mancini were into it. Hopefully it bothers the Rangers it should. 

Kakko played below expectations, while Edstrom continues to surprise. Kakko's 16 minutes and Edstrom's 7 should be reversed. Speaking of minutes, Mancini played more than Trouba or Lindgren, and rightfully so. 

Good reality check for the Rangers

Disappointed in the Rangers compete level against the team that bounced them out of the playoff's last season. One would of hoped the memory would have supplied all the juice and then some to fuel the Rangers compete level. Instead another of those to frequent games where they had zero jam. Including in last season's playoffs against this very team. It can't be overlooked and needs addressing.
