I watched the second 1/2 and OT and shootout. Didn’t see Fox on the ice in O T. Did I miss him getting hurt.?
My read of that play was Miller shifted his focus when his guy pivoted to make the pass. Had he stepped up and played the body, the pass probably never happens.Miller takes himself out of the play after missing a stick check when he should have rubbed him along the boards
I think there's plenty to pick on for Miller, but I don't know that he did anything wrong there, he was defending the front guy, one of the forwards needed to be coming back on Middlestadt, it's probably Trocheck, who came in trailing the play
I'm starting to wonder if it is a confidence thing. He leaves a gap between himself and his man to give himself an extra split second to react rather than trusting his hockey sense.
