Got any optimism?

The Rangers are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games.

They are playing rally well defensively and turning strong defense into enough offense right now.

The PK is strong.

Zib and Miller are getting stronger.

Panarin still makes bonehead plays but his scoring has picked up.

Noah Laba is a keeper... Impressive size/speed/hands

The D pairs are surprisingly complimentary... I am shocked how well Soucy is playing in Sullivan's scheme.

What tweaks would you make now and going into the New Year and the trade deadline?

I would sit Sheary for Brodzinski.

I’d move Raddysh and Sheary, don’t know how Raddysh scored five goals, he’s invisible most of the time same as Sheary. I like the top two lines Cuylle, Zib, Miller and Panarin, Trochek and Lafreniere. I’d have Brodzynski with Laba all day plus new player acquisition. Rempe when he’s back with Garrick and Edstrom .

Another point is the Rangers have this year and next year to go all in and then it will be rebuild time. To many key components will be to old after the end of next season.  And of course that means giving up to get. They need a stud top three forward and another Gavrikov at a minimum. As mentioned on other posts a Olivier from Columbus would be huge against Florida and dark horse Montreal. So its doable but Drury needs to get off his ass and do something.
