Kreider??

How do you go 19 games without a assist? Almost impossible. His total lack of leadership and to to many invisible games is unacceptable. Time to move on from this guy. Cuylle totally capable of being the net front guy, and he might even mix it up while there. Kreider has a 15 team no trade list so might be the most moveable, and justified Vet to trade.

Good luck trying to get any value for a 33 year old power forward who now talks about his (chronic???) back issues

Funny how you never hear about what an injury issue is with a player but now we all know Kreider has back issues...

Almost like he’s trying to devalue his value.

I wondered whether it was more a way to deflect the conversation rather than a major issue.  I've had a back issues at times in my life, but managed to find ways to recover and have it not effect me for years after.  Not sure what specifically is wrong with Kreider's back, but don't think it's necessarily a big deal.  That, and he has 10 goals this year, which is something that GMs still value, especially on the PP from a forward.

I think there'll be plenty of offers for him if he's truly available, but given how early we are in the season, not sure there's a lot who feel they have to make that move yet...which is more the problem.

Any trade partners get to medically exam him and see his medical history.
